Lake Cheryl is a private lake in southeast Michigan acquired in November 2020 by Squirrel Investments 141 llc. Development plans to recover the lake and surrounding grasslands as private park are underway.

The property was farmland during the early 1900s, and was turned into Sand/Gravel pit about 1952, as Groesbeck Hwy (M-97) was paved at the western border of Mount Clemens and Clinton Township. During the 1990s the property was redeveloped into a Floating Golf Ball range, complete with an adjacent Putt/Putt course. The property has been designated industrial for many years, though no activity has occurred on the property in a generation.
